My first threading experience..

I went to Hairliners because my favorite manicurista, Ate Marie at Going Straight, was still busy doing someone else's nails.. The people at the front desk told me that I had to wait 45mins. That was like the umpteenth time that I had to wait for Ate Marie. So no other choice. Went back to Hairliners where the manicurista is tolerable.. Checked out their list of services and decided to go for both a pedicure and an eyebrow threading..

The lady there told me na it takes like a month before tumubo ulit, so as compared to eyebrow shaping which takes about a week.

So they sat me in a chair, made me lean back and crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccckkkkkkk!!!

Lord! It hurts! Big time!!!

Frances for France

 I've always wanted to travel. And what better way to start my journey than by travelling to France? I need to plan ahead.. I'm OC that way.. So I need to look for cheap hotels in France.

Ahh.. L'amour… The city of love…

What to do? What to do in France? Let's see.. There's Paris Fashion Week where almost everything from Chanel to Versace is showcased. I need to shop! I'm in France for God's sake! Hahaha.. Now, it's a well-known fact that France is one of the top shopping destinations of the world, along with Greenhills.. I've heard that the haute couture shops along the eighth arrondissement are among the best. They have high quality bags, leather goods, and SHOES!!! Plus, Über lots of bargains!!! I'm going to shop till I drop baby!!! (Addict!!) 

Visiting museums may also be included in my itinerary. There's  the  Louvre. I need to bring my sketchpad.. I'd like to do Michaelangelo's David. Minus the genitals. Hahaha. I'll draw a leaf over it instead!

I hear Paris is grand this time of year.. I'll probably be staying at one of  the hotels in Paris I can find online. Something cheaper.. Have to save money for the shopping trips! Oh yeah. Will have to try French dining and wineries. No French vacation is complete without one. I think I'll feel bloated in a day! Will have to try the restaurant on top of the Eiffel  Tower!

Nice is also nice I hear. Hahaha. Lots of  local cuisine, beaches,  markets.. Like this mall Nice Etoile which is half way up the Ave Jean  Médecin, on the right. It has contains several floors of boutiques and shops. Yippeee!!! And since I have to do some shopping, inexpensive hotels in Nice are in order.

And while I'm touring the shopping streets, the old bookstores and taking in the sights of France, maybe. just maybe.. I could find a love affair..

woe is me..

I took the laptop to HP today. Suffice it to say that it was very very quick.. Buti na lang I thought of bringing it in today.. I forgot that Monday next week is a holiday and next next week is a very long weekend..

The tech said that it might be the motherboard. Crap. I hope it's just the ac adapter.

Will be seeing a dentist tomorrow. I cannot live like this!!! :'(
