Ang tunay na IT Professional maraming movies sa hard drive

Just saw this phrase from a friend’s facebook post. And natawa ako! LOL. Kasi naman lalaki sya. And when a guy means movies, they only mean two things: there are movies and “movies”.

From my viewpoint, a guy’s hard drive is composed of 75-80% “movies” and 20% movies. Never mind the HD space. LOL! 

But hey, they say that it’s proof of a guy’s masculinity.

Say mo? ;) 

Beating the stress

Wow! Three posts and I’m still going! 

But who am I kidding? Blogging is just an avenue for me to destress. Just like getting my nails done at a nail salon. But that’s a bit expensive. 

I am stressed out at work. Hell, even my face shows it. I now have sebhorrheic dermatitis caused by extreme stress. Aside from that, I think I may have “oxidative stress.”And I look OLD! :’(I need some heav-duty Anti aging products.

Foreseeing the future

I’ve been thinking a lot about the future lately and what it holds for me. Will I stay in the same company? Stuck as an agent forever? Will I be waiting for something to happen or should I move my ass and do something about it? Knowing myself, I’d probably do something.
 
I could probably take a teaching job when I resign from my current position. And one of my options would be to take a course online for that. I’ve found that the USC Rossier School of Education is offering a Master’s of Arts in Teaching degree ONLINE! I checked out the website and I found out that the school is a 100-year old institution that’s internationally renowned for educating teachers.  The site does provide a lot of program information about the course as compared to other school sites.

I say, this is great stuff! They offer a highly interactive online course combined with field-based experiences plus I get to complete it in 12 months!  Aside from that, it’s possible that I can also get tuition reimbursements and scholarships to help me out.  And it’s also worthy of note that if I do get in, I get the whole enchilada: USC student status and benefits, participation in commencement ceremonies and free lifetime Alumni Association memberships.

So there. This is an option worth considering. And I hope that I make the right decision.

Hello world! 

These are the first words that I learned to write in code. I guess it’s just apt that I restart my blog with these words.  

So, here’s the updates on my life. 

I am still living in Cubao. Renting a room in a house with a gay landlord. Believe me, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. (eyeroll)

And yes, I am still working in the same company. Good luck na lang sa akin. 

And yes, I am older. And several sizes bigger. (eyeroll)

And yes, the bufra and I are still together.  

So there you have it. My life in a nutshell.
